Numero Ocho - The Number 8
"Cursed by birth?" I
thought as the person told me that the number 26 was unlucky. The name change
was the only option.
Numerology! 2 + 6 = 8. Eight is
considered an unlucky number. Who should I blame now? I am in search of our
ancient practitioners who introduced Shashtanga namaskar and Ashtanga yoga. If
I try to translate the number that might come out of these words, the
numerologist might hate me.
Well, I would like to do
Shashtanga Namaskaram to those who think number 8 is terrible. I surrender!
I love maths. Well, if you like
decoding you might see infinity in the number 8. Does it mean that they have
infinite energy? My inner voice said, "how convenient."
"Wait a minute, are you
trying to prove that number 8 is good?" the question snapped in.
I know that you have already
started searching online. Worst of all, you have already started looking out
for people born on this date - 8, 17 and 26.
That's when the most significant
revelation came out - the slow growth of Indian economy. 26 was the reason. A
simple numerology would have saved an entire economy.
The numerologist knew that I did
not have an answer on Indian Economy (I am a Computer Science Student).
Cornered, confused and concerned, I had just one option - change my name. The
number of alphabets in my new name should be 8. You see negative and negative
becomes positive.
What do you think? If you were
born of 8, 17 or 26 let me know your views. If you too feel that you were
unlucky, let the blessings of Ashta Lakshmi be showered on you.
By the way, I am thinking of a
new name for India!List of famous personalities born of 8, 17 or 26. (Source - Wikipedia)
